環保
自2020年疫情爆發以來，黃金海岸慈濟積極響應證嚴上人長年推動茹素護生，並於2009年前後積極倡導茹素減碳、愛護地球的理念，持續深耕社區關懷與推廣素食行動。自當年四月起，每週於南港警局發放素食便當關懷街友；五月起，亦為布里斯班 Upper Gravatt Mt 區警察同仁提供素食便當，持續至2023年12月圓滿最後一次派送。
自2020年7月起，進一步固定於每月第一個星期一，持續將素食便當送至南港警察局；2022年4月起，也同步關懷黃金海岸醫院急診室與救護車單位，每月固定供應素食便當至今，長期陪伴第一線人員，以實際行動傳遞健康與環保的飲食理念。
此外，把握各種因緣，透過一年三大活動積極推廣茹素，讓更多民眾有機會接觸並體驗素食的美好。一年下來，透過三項活動結緣發放超過1,100個素食便當，不僅擴大推素影響力，也進一步凝聚社區善念。
透過長期且穩定的行動，黃金海岸慈濟不僅關懷弱勢與第一線人員，更具體落實上人「以飲食守護生命、以行動愛護地球」的理念。
