食物發放
2001年，為了落實慈濟人文精神，志工們經過多次討論後，決定向黃金海岸市政府租借內朗（Nerang）場地，開始進行固定每個週一的食物發放。草創初期，鮮少有人知曉；志工們親自拿著傳單，走入貧民區挨家挨戶說明與邀請。隨著時間推移，受助家庭逐漸增加。多年來持之以恆的付出，不僅溫暖了無數家庭，也引起市政府的重視，甚至獲得市長親自參與支持，為日後申請靜思堂用地種下了美好的因緣。當中也有不少照顧戶，成爲慈濟志工。延續至今（2026年），現在固定於每月第二個星期一舉行，從未間斷。
2012年9月2日，慈濟志工前往伊普市布拉索購物中心，展開當地首次食物發放。當年共舉辦兩次；自2013年起，改為每年四次，持續關懷當地有需要的家庭。2025年6月，於伊普市高中完成最後一次食物發放，因緣暫告一段落。
