Second-Hand Charity Sale

Giving items a second life through kindness

Second-Hand Charity Sale

Second-hand charity sales have long served in Tzu Chi Perth as a bridge between “resource circulation” and “charitable relief.” Through sorting, classifying, and selling used goods, items that might otherwise have been discarded regain value, and the proceeds are then turned into support for emergency relief. The spirit of second-hand sales is not only “saving money,” but “cherishing the life of things and cherishing one’s blessings.” When the community learns to keep resources circulating, it also learns to let kindness circulate between people.
