1,648 Patients
Since 2013, Tzu Chi TIMA Perth has provided free dental care through large-scale and monthly dental clinics.
Each month, we serve refugees, survivors of domestic violence, people experiencing homelessness, Tzu Chi care recipients, and others in need referred by community partners. With compassion, we care for those in need and help safeguard their health.
411 Patients
Since 2024, Tzu Chi TIMA Perth has brought free dental care to Kalgoorlie, helping bridge the healthcare gap between metropolitan and remote communities.
Travelling over 600 km with love and compassion, volunteers work together with local Aboriginal churches, the Salvation Army and dental partners to care for Aboriginal people, low-income families and residents of remote communities. Together, we safeguard health and bring care to those in need.
Since 1997
Tzu Chi volunteers have continued their monthly visits to Hamersley Aged Care Centre, offering care and companionship to the elderly, regardless of age or background.
Year after year, their commitment has remained unchanged. Through songs, laughter and heartfelt companionship, volunteers bring warmth and joy, walking alongside the residents through every season and adding happiness to their everyday lives.

Tzu Chi Perth delivers a diverse range of community programs that respond to local needs while supporting the Foundation's global humanitarian mission.

Community care
Our charity programs provide practical assistance and compassionate support to individuals and families experiencing hardship. Volunteers also visit aged care facilities through our Nursing Home Care program, offering companionship, encouragement, and meaningful social connection. Through projects such as the Premature Baby Project, we also support vulnerable families during some of life's most challenging moments with care and compassion.
Health & wellbeing
Access to quality healthcare should be available to everyone. Our medical initiatives include community health services, volunteer medical programs, and regional outreach such as the Kalgoorlie Remote-Area Free Clinic, where healthcare professionals and volunteers work together to provide medical care, health education, and wellbeing support for underserved communities.
Education & family programs
We believe education helps people grow both intellectually and personally. Through educational initiatives, the Parent-Child Growth Class, and the Tzu Chi Collegiate Youth Association (Tzu Ching) Perth, we encourage lifelong learning, family connection, leadership, and compassionate service. These programs help children, parents, and young adults develop confidence, good character, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
Environmental protection
Protecting the environment is an important expression of compassion for future generations. Through recycling initiatives, environmental education, Clean Up Australia Day, Pulling Weeds, and other environmental protection activities, we encourage sustainable living and inspire people to care for the natural world through everyday actions.

When natural disasters affect communities, Tzu Chi Perth provides timely relief and practical assistance to support recovery. Working alongside volunteers and community partners, we help individuals and families meet immediate needs while supporting their journey towards rebuilding with dignity and hope.
Healthy living
Through our Vegetarian Promotion initiatives, we encourage healthy, mindful living that benefits both personal wellbeing and the environment. By promoting plant-based lifestyles and sustainable habits, we support healthier communities while helping protect the Earth.
Community volunteers
Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Through our Community Volunteers program, people from all backgrounds are invited to develop new skills, build meaningful friendships, and contribute their time and compassion in service of others.
